MUSLIM MISSIONS THROUGH MEDICINE/CATARCT SURGERY With Korean Eye Doctors
Dr. Byung In Lee worked diligently to establish a hospital in The Gambia. He was welcomed by the local Muslim chief to do this. Over a period of several years he brought in medicines and medical supplies and raised funds to build a small hospital. This hospital opened up great opportunities for the Gospel in this area of Gambia!
Sadly, after a number of years of providing medical care to the needy people in this area, the leading government officials in Gambia closed down the hospital.
We praise God for the years the hospital was open and realize that in any foreign country ruled by Muslims or other anti-Christian beliefs, there is always the possibility of this happening. Dr. Byung In Lee learned all the necessary details of establishing a hospital overseas and we recommend him as a reference to any who are undertaking this kind of work overseas.
Presently, Dr. Byung In lee is networking with Korean medical teams who do cataract surgeries in Africa and S. America. He will connect you with doctors who can schedule a Cataract Surgery Team to come to your mission field to do the surgeries.
