Intercessory Prayer Ministry
“Jesus replied, ‘This kind can come out only by prayer.” ( Mark 9:29)
God is always looking for intercessors. Intercessory prayer is one of the most important commissions from God and we must follow the examples of those who gave glory to God through intercessory prayer.
Prayer requests for mission work: Missionaries on the field frequently encounter danger and hardship. Mission work needs the supernatural help of the Lord as missionaries live in a foreign country and seek to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ in a foreign culture. We all need to be interceding for our missionaries in prayer that God would prosper the work of their hands as they bring the Gospel to the nations of the earth.
“So when we could stand it no longer, we thought it best to be left by ourselves in Athens. We sent Timothy, who is our brother and God’s fellow worker in spreading the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith, so that no one would be unsettled by these trials." (1 Thessalonians 3:1-2)
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” (Eph. 6:18)
